Tep Vanny and a group of 30 women have opened a small sewing workshop near Boeung Kak lake producing recycled bags, wallets and silk and cotton bags. They are hoping that the sales of these bags will generate an income that will provide their families and their communities a better future.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Impact on Artisans Live:</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ms.Sok Navy, a widow with three children. She sells bags to care for her underprivileged family, after her husband passed away. Her house and her family was moved by the government to Toul Sam Bo about 40minutes from the nations capital, Phnom Penh.
